The workflow

Flight identity, route and the running summary of configuration, fuel, passengers and cargo as they are entered.

Crew complement, pantry and flight kit resolved into DOW and DOI, with MTOW and MLW editable for the day's dispatch.

Procedure and density, taxi, takeoff and trip fuel, block and maximum — indexed wing-first then centre tank, with the arm interpolated from the aircraft's own fuel table.

Passengers

Destinations against categories, zone by zone, with the operator's weight policy applied and a remaining-seat counter.

Cargo

Holds against baggage, cargo and mail, split by destination, with per-hold maxima enforced as you load.

Your certified forward and aft limits as the boundary, and the aircraft's actual state plotted inside it.

  • ZFW, TOW and LDW as points, and the fuel burn as a vector running from zero-fuel to takeoff weight.
  • %MAC and index on the same chart — diagonal %MAC lines above, index scale below, weight up the side.
  • MTOW, MLW and MZFW marked where they bite.
  • Out-of-envelope and over-limit states flagged with the reason, not a generic warning.

The arithmetic

Real index maths, from your database.

  • DOW and DOI derived from the actual crew configuration plus pantry and flight-kit corrections — not a single stored operating weight.
  • Passenger index by zone centroid and weighted average category, rather than a flat per-head figure.
  • Fuel index interpolated from the aircraft's fuel table, wing tanks filling before centre.
  • Underload with its limiting factor — which of ZFW, TOW or LDW is the one actually holding you.
  • Trim computed per weight and flap setting from the certified trim formulas.

Boeing and Bombardier fleets available side by side from separate certified databases, so a mixed operation works from a single screen.

The same database flies. Load control on the web and the weight & balance module inside eLila EFB read the same certified source. The figures the loadmaster produces and the figures the captain signs cannot drift apart, because there is only one of them.
