Service · Weight & Balance / AHM 560

Your AHM 560, turned into a working database.

The IATA AHM 560 document describes your aircraft's weight and balance. It does not compute anything. We turn it into the certified configuration — and the trim sheets — that load control and the flight deck actually run on.

The gap

Between the document and the loadsheet, somebody has to do the encoding.

Index formula, MAC and reference chord, envelope points, zone centroids, fuel effect, per-registration limits — all of it is in your AHM 560, and none of it is in a form software can execute. Usually that gap is closed by hand, once, by whoever set the system up, and then nobody dares touch it at the next revision.

We close it properly: the document is parsed, the values are encoded, the result is validated against loadsheets you already trust, and it is versioned so the next revision is a rebuild rather than an archaeology project.

What gets encoded

Everything the calculation needs.

01

Parsed, then checked by hand

Your AHM 560 PDF is read automatically for the values it publishes in a regular form — passenger and crew weights, registrations and limits, index formula, CG limits. Everything extracted is then reviewed against the document, because a parser that is right 95 % of the time is a liability in this particular file.

02

Validated against loadsheets you trust

Before anything goes into service we reproduce loadsheets your operation has already produced and signed, and put the two side by side. Matching figures is the acceptance test — not a code review.

03

Versioned per revision

Each AHM 560 revision is a distinct, stored version, so you can see what changed and when — and roll back if a revision turns out to be wrong.

This is the data engineering. Fulcrum is the application that runs it. The same database drives web load control and the weight & balance module inside eLila EFB on the flight deck — which is why the loadmaster's figures and the captain's cannot drift apart. If you already have a W&B system you are keeping, we can still build you the database for it.

Send us your AHM 560.

One document and one signed loadsheet is enough for us to come back with a reproduction of it and a scope for the rest of your fleet.
